HootSuite, the social media account management tool, has opened up their support for Google+ Pages to all user accounts. Previously, this capability was only open to Enterprise level customers. Business owners are encouraged to use tools like HootSuite to better manage their social networks and internet marketing initiatives.

Whether you’re on a Free, a Pro or an Enterprise plan, you’ll be able to efficiently manage Google+ Pages alongside other social channels, providing brands a better way to capitalize on the social power of this rapidly expanding social network.
To add Google+ Pages: Access your Profile from the side menu, then select + Add a Social Network under My Social Networks.
Social media teams can now fully utilize the advanced capabilities of HootSuite’s engagement, measurement, collaboration and security tool-set to manage the unique brand-focused environment of Google+ Pages for:
– Targeted Publishing with Circles
– Advanced Circle Management
Google added Google+ Pages for businesses some time ago, giving businesses and brands the opportunity to leverage the new social network for marketing and customer engagement. We’ve been using HootSuite for some time to help coordinate posts and messages across other social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Facebook Page, LinkedIn and Foursquare. The addition of Google+ Page support is a welcome one!
More than just the ability to post an update to a Google+ Page at the same time as other networks, HootSuite provides actual management tools. Posts can be limited to specific circles, and account managers can utilize advanced circle management features such as message assignments and follow-ups.
